James talks about grieving for his infant son, Leo.

You know, but when our son's lungs started failing and we knew that he was going to die within an hour, they moved us into this other room and just left us alone. And we were there with him. You know, my wife was holding him when he stopped breathing, when his heart stop beating and there's nothing anybody can do to make that better. You know, we had to go home that night. Nothing anybody, no foundation or therapist or family member can make that any better. So then you just have each other and you do whatever you need to do to get through it and deal with it. For families whose children have it and who are facing that sort of inevitable end, I would just say like stay as close as you can to each other and to your family and to your friends. And I know that you know -- I don’t know if that wound of losing a child ever heals completely, but it gets better, it gets easier. You know, you won't wake up and feel the same way you felt the day your child dies or the day after or the week after or the month after. Like it's been a few years for us and it still hurts, you know, but it will get better eventually. You'll learn to live with it. You know, somebody asked me once like do you think things will ever return normal and I said no. You know, it's just a new normal. It's just a different normal and you learn to live with it. I would say get as many pictures as you can, get as much video as you can.
