I did not have hobgoblins dancing in my head, that oh boy the politicians are going to come down on this like a ton of bricks. But I did think that something almost impossible had been attempted during the week, a mixture of technical and scientific and political or social things, were all being considered all at once by a group of people who, like all other groups of people, are inadequately equipped to do all these things in the same timeframe.
