The 3D Brain is a unique mobile app that allows users to explore the brain dynamically. It includes 29 interactive structures, each with its own unique content. Choose a structure from the menu, and use the touch screen to rotate and zoom. Each structure includes a text description that explains critical functions, case studies, current research, and information about how that structure is involved in mental illness. Use Labels to learn the sub-structures of each brain region. Use Search to find a brain area that matches your query. 3D Brain is 100 percent free. It was created by the Dolan DNA Learning Center of Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, in collaboration with Vivid Apps and AXS Biomedical Animation Studio.
