What is exciting about this is the core of understanding the essence of biology is having many of these digital source codes for many, many different kinds of creatures. Because by being able to compare these different source codes, we're, we can not only deduce the logic of how genes work, but the logic of how regulatory networks work. And the really exciting idea is, once we begin to understand how regulatory networks work, then we can start to re-design creatures to do things in very rational ways, not by kind of the classic hit and miss experiments that we have to carry out today.
