We now know what a human being is on the basis of his genes. And with the technology improvements, we can finally understand the genetic basis. If schizophrenia were caused by one gene, we would have understood it, but the brain can malfunction, probably a number of different genes can lead to the malfunctioning of the type we call schizophrenia. So, itâ€™s just too complicated for conventional genetics and even though we wanted to understand it ever since a hundred years ago, we couldnâ€™t.
