Activity description:

Join Megan as she explores the diversity of life and discusses the Linnaean system of classification. Using a compound microscope, you will view specimens that belong to the plant and animal kingdoms and help compare these two types of cells.

You will:
-appreciate the necessity and history of classification
-understand how taxonomists classify known organisms
-become familiar with the parts and function of a compound microscope
-observe and identify various cell components
