DNALC LIVE
SERIES PLAYLIST: Invertebrate Biology
Playlist description:
From tropical rainforests and coral reefs to our very own backyards, invertebrates dominate natural ecosystems in terms of both abundance and diversity. Though we often underestimate them, these organisms display some of the most interesting biological adaptations and behaviors of all animals. Follow DNALC/Long Island Aquarium entomologist Jeffry Petracca through our six-part Invertebrate Biology Series, a journey that highlights the many fascinating, unseen lifestyles of various invertebrate groups. Each episode focuses on a specific group of invertebrates or different aspects of their biology. Most importantly, you will have the unique opportunity to meet many of the animals that live at the Long Island Aquarium, including exotic butterflies, dangerous spiders, and alien corals!
