Virtual Field Trips

Book a private Virtual Lab Field Trip for your class to attend online! Virtual Lab Field Trips can be scheduled for a time that is convenient for you and your students, with a private chat to communicate directly with an experienced DNALC instructor.

All Virtual Lab Field Trips will include a demonstration of procedural wet lab techniques, discussion of relevant molecular biology and genetics concepts, and analysis of results. Teachers can book presentations of any of the labs previously offered as field trips (excluding museum tours.) See the reference chart below for more information about available labs, recommended length of instructional time, and cost.

The DNALC is currently using ZOOM for live programming with a limit of 35 participants per session.  If you and your students are unable to use this platform, please let us know and we will work with you to explore alternate platforms.
